I think you should ake him to the vet as I’ve heard of a illness which causes loosing furr. Is you cat also excessively licking that area or baldness? If so deffy see a vet!!!

It could be something very simple like hes had a cat fight and some of the fur was pulled away caussing bald patches. However it could be something that needs treating – cats can loose their fur to other things such as fleas, allergys etc.

absolutely. Any physical or behavioral chances need to be seen by a vet.
If you lost a patch of hair on your head, wouldn’t you go to the doctor?
