Monkey Chunks asked:
This is sort of a psychology question. Why do most people like furry animals like cats and dogs, hamsters, and what not? The same is not true for hairless or bald breeds of cats or dogs or any other animal. I mean I am sure their owners like them, but they do not generate same cuddling reaction.
This is strange to me since Humans are technically hairless and bald and human babies to cling to their mother who is not hairy.
Yea so I am not sure how to explain this.

Armless Joe, Bipedal Foe asked:
I’m trying to find something more interactive than a gerbil or fish, but there are allergies in the house. Long haired animals are off the list, cats in general, large animals are off the list, and anything that sheds a lot isn’t really an option.
I’d looked into hairless cats, but apparently they still have allergens. I know, picky. :)
Any suggestions?
A lot of great answers, thanks for all the replies.
