meg l asked:
Is this a Persian thing, or do all cat do this at times? It is like she has double jointed hips or something. She is so different from any other cat I have had, and way more adorable in a so sweet it hurts your teeth kind of way. Not sure what persian quirks are, so I don’t know if it is the breed or just this one oddball.
She will fall asleep like that sitting up, then eventually she just falls over still asleep. She looks like she passed out, so I took a pic of her on the floor with tiny airplain booze bottles and a tiny lamp shade from the wall sconse resting by her head. Is that wrong?
I also am gonning to make her a Jawa costume for halloween, cause thats what she looks like, black face with two giant yellow eyes. I know this may be abusive, but I have never had a cat like this before, so chill and unbothered by anything, even put clothes on her. Never though I’d be “one of those people”.

I’m currently on holiday, and my Dad has got a Persian cat who’s about 1 1/2 years old, female. He says that the previous owners fed her only once in two to three days, as Persian cats’ metabolic rate is slow. And she only feeds on water and biscuits. Is this true? Should I change her diet? And if so, how do I get her used to a new diet if she is fussy? She’s quite nervous at the moment, owing to a change of environment. Please help!

Faede asked:
My 3 year old Persian has brown tear stains like most Persian cats. A warm water washcloth does not appear to be working well at all. It gets the goopy stuff out but leaves a brown tint. She has white hair so the brown tears are very apparent.
What are effective, eye-safe ways to clean her face?

I have a persian cat, and is 5 weeks old. It’s late at night and there’s no open vet. She is dying and can hardly breath. If someone can give a quality advice or any first aid tip, I would highly appreciate!
